Cooking has always been a passion of mine. As a kid, I cherished the time spent in the kitchen with my grandmothers, watching and learning as they worked their magic. At home, my dad was the chef of our family, creating wholesome meals that my siblings and I eagerly looked forward to. My aunt had a vast cookbook collection, and I would spend hours flipping through the pages, studying recipes, understanding proportions, and imagining new ways to combine flavors.
By my twenties, I had started my own cookbook collection and loved experimenting in the kitchen—whether for my own enjoyment or to share with friends. When I got married and had kids, cooking became even more meaningful. I found creative ways to make meals my children would love, including my now-beloved Carrot Soufflé and Summer Squash Casserole—dishes that became staples at our holiday table and remain family favorites to this day.
For me, cooking is more than just making food—it is about warmth, comfort, and the love shared around the table. It’s a way to honor the cherished memories of my grandmothers and dad, and to create new ones with my own family. Through Dale’s Foods, I hope to share that same love and comfort with you and yours.
