David “DLow” Lowry grew up in the heart of the family business. From the time he was five, he loved spending time at Dale’s Southern Grill with his dad. As soon as he was old enough, DLow made it his mission to work in every position at the restaurant, gaining invaluable firsthand experience in what it takes to run a successful operation. Over the years, his passion for Southern hospitality and great food has only grown stronger.
After graduating from Troy University, DLow returned to Dale’s Southern Grill during the COVID-19 pandemic to help his family navigate the unprecedented challenges they were facing. When his dad, Dale, made the decision to sell casseroles to grocery stores to address food shortages, DLow was there every step of the way—personally delivering the frozen casseroles and securing new stores to carry them. This hands-on experience only deepened his love for the family business and strengthened his commitment to continuing its legacy.
Today, DLow works alongside his dad at Dale’s Foods, dedicated to sharing the casseroles he grew up loving with a whole new generation of customers.
